Resilience by design: safeguarding the OTC derivatives lifecycle against market stress

For over 40 years, ISDA has helped the derivatives markets navigate periods of market disruption ranging from the global financial crisis to COVID, from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine to suspension of Nickle settlements at the LME. This panel will look at what ISDA is doing to enhance operational resiliency and avoid unintended dislocation between cleared and non-cleared markets in the face of such challenges. This will encompass its recently published 2026 FX Definitions, the digitization and standardization of critical post-trade processes as well as the market guidance ISDA provides in times of disruption.
